In a move set to send shockwaves through the youth football scene in Singapore, LCS Football Academy announces Luka Lalic as the academy's technical director. Luka's appointment is seen as a coup for the academy as he turned down first team opportunities with professional clubs in Europe to join LCS.

Luka brings with him a unique set of experiences which makes him a standout candidate for this position. Prior to this appointment, Luka spent more than three years at the Feyenoord Rotterdam as Head of Methodology and International Development coach.

The experience of working with top level youth players is coupled with his 7 years spent in Singapore from 2009 to 2016. Back then, he started Turf City FC and brought it to its pinnacle, personally coaching his teams which won majors honours in the region. Notable players that have developed under his guidance and are now playing with professional European academies include Levi Skuym (Feyenoord), Harry Birthwhistle (Wolverhampton), Harry Spence (Leeds United) and many more.

The blend of European academy insights with an in-depth understanding of the local "system" puts Luka in a position to develop a professional curriculum that is tailored for our Singaporean child.

LCS Football Academy looks forward to working with Luka to push Singapore football towards new heights and make our players dream of the impossible!
