CODE OF CONDUCT

We all bear a collective responsibility to set a good example and help provide a positive environment in which children can learn and enjoy the game. Play your part and observe the code of conduct for parents at all times:

I WILL

Let the coach do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do.

Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and match officials.

Applaud effort and good play as well as success.

Respect the Referees’ decisions even when you don’t agree with them.

Appreciate good play from whatever team it comes from.

Remain behind the touchline and within the designated spectators’ area (where provided).

Support positively. When players make a mistake offer them encouragement not criticism.

Never engage in or tolerate offensive, insulting, or abusive language or behaviour.

I understand that if I do not follow the Code, any/all of the following actions may be taken by the academy.

Remember that children play for fun.

I MAY BE

Issued with a verbal warning from an academy coach.

Required to meet with an academy official.

Obliged to leave the match venue by the academy.

Requested by the academy not to attend future games.

Required to leave the academy along with any dependents.

TESTIMONIALS

"An academy that focuses on individual development via good football. We decided to join LCSFA 4 years ago after witnessing the dedication of the coaches during games. We never regretted as our kids prosper in a multi-racial and family oriented environment. The coaching philosophy is consistent and constantly evolving at all levels.LCSFA never felt like an academy focused on making money but more for the good of Singapore soccer. Not to forget…. The amazing friends we made here."

Peter Tan, Father of Kieran, 12 and Tyler, 10

“My daughter enjoys football training with LCSFA Girls very much and eagerly looks forward to every session. Compared to other soccer academies that she used to attend, the coaches at LCSFA Girls not only have very creative and fun drills to improve their basic technical skills, but also teach the kids a lot about the tactical aspects of the game in a manner that is easy for them to understand.I would encourage more parents to let their daughters be exposed to the game of football. Since playing on a regular basis, my daughter has become healthier, falling ill less often, more confident and learnt to communicate better with her teammates.”

Jason, Father of Amelia Tan, 9

"Krishav has been a part of LCSFA since he was 5. Now 10, he is developing into an all rounded and versatile footballer, thanks to the academy's coaching philosophy. LCSFA places utmost importance on the development of players, both on and off the pitch, and the coaches take great pride in instilling the right values and mentality in their players. In its relentless efforts to maintain the highest standards, LCSFA regularly partners top academies/coaches around the world to expose its players to different coaching styles and methodologies. Our youngest son, Pranav, 3, is also with LCSFA and we believe his journey will be as fulfilling as his brother's!"

Selva and Darshini, Parents of Krishav, 10 and Pranav, 4

“Yasmine has been playing in the boy’s team in LCSFA since 2016. We had initially wanted to place her in another soccer academy but from the recommendation of a friend, we put our faith in LCSFA and signed her up, even though LCSFA was fairly new at that time.Yasmine started playing with LCSFA Girls in 2019. In LCSFA, she has had the privilege of training under Coach Jaslee, Coach Gaelan, Coach Fathi and Coach Sheau Shyan. The passionate coaches always have her interests at heart. Over the years, we have seen her grow her confidence in the game and raise her level of play. She has also learnt important values like sportsmanship and teamwork. No regrets. LCSFA Girls is a great place to grow, like a family.”

Shadidah, Mother of Yasmine Zaharin, 13
